Mátrafüred

Mátrafüred offers an excellent starting point for those visitors setting out to discover the famous Kékestető and charming Mátraháza. Our tourist camp with its cabins is located about a 5 minute walk from the bus stop and the train station. Our camp is ideal for summer holidays and as a base for tourist groups.

Accomodations: The cabins have large rooms where 6-10 kids can be accomodated. Adults  are offered rooms for 2-4 guests. The camp operates from April 1st to September 30th.

Meals: Guests are responsible for taking care of their meals. There is well equipped kitchen with dining area on the premises for those who choose to take advantage of the cooking and dining facilities. For those who don’t, there are restaurants located in the centre of Mátrafüred.

Activities, excursions and sightseeing: Kékes – Mátraháza – Parádsasvár (glassworks) – Parád ( Paloc folk house) – Parádfürdő (carriage museum) – Gyöngyös – Recsik – Sirok – Eger

Hiking: Day outings to Mátraháza, Kékestető (1,014 m.), Mátraszentimre, Parád.

Directions: 80 km from Budapest. Head east on the M3 motorway and turn off to Gyöngyös. Daily scheduled bus and trains are available.
