Hotel Aqua, Balatonföldvár

The most popular Lake Balaton tourist centres are found on the southern shore. Lake Balaton is not only famous for being the largest lake in Europe, but is also famous for its numerous spa resorts. One of the most beautiful, colorful and well run spa resorts is Balatonföldvár. At the turn of the century, it was the most popular spa amongst the aristocracy and the rich and wealthy. Their numerous villas attest to those bygone days and are now used as hotels, hostels and holiday homes.

On one of the quiet venerable tree lined streets amongst these villas in Balatonföldvár can be found Hotel Aqua. The hotel is located just 300 m. from the lake and about 150 m. from the city centre.

Accomodations: The hotel has 32 double rooms, 2 small apartments and 1 large apartment. Each room has 2 single beds and 2 convertible sofas. Of the small apartments, two have 2 beds and 2 convertible sofas and the third has 2 beds and 1 convertible sofa. The large apartment has 4 beds. The ground floor rooms have terraces and the upper floor rooms have  balconies. Each room has a bathrooom and is equipped with a color TV and a bar fridge. The apartments are similarly equipped but in addition have a kitchenette.

For the guests’ convenience the hotel also has a TV room, computer room, common kitchen and a buffet in the lobby. There are approximately 25 parking spaces in the hotel courtyard. The hotel is open for business during the holiday season from June 1st to September 15th.
